Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development were hoping to maintain their recent good form that had seen them unbeaten in their last four and maintaining a clean sheet in each of their last three games when they hosted Salisbury Development at the Sustain Stadium.
Both games between the sides last season had been tight affairs and this one was no different.
On an afternoon that saw defences on top, the home side were able to extend both records but were unable to find the net at the other end as the two teams shared the points following a 0-0 draw.
