Malmesbury Victoria Development. secured a narrow 2-0 win against Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development in an entertaining game at the Sustain Stadium.
The game could have gone either way but in the end some clinical finishing saw Malmesbury take the three points courtesy.
Last season Dale Richards had been part of Bassett's title winning Development side, but he scored an absolute stunner for his new club on his return. Also on target for Malmesbury was Harrison Archer.
