Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development finally registered their first point of the season - and it came away at Shrewton United, a ground where the visitors' record has not been very good over the years.
A stunning strike from youngster Jowan Partridge gave Bassett a 1-0 lead but Shrewton got themselves back on level terms a minute before the half time break, Dalitso Marsdon with the equaliser.
Despite both sides creating chances after the break, there was to be no further goals and the sides had to settled for a point each following the 1-1 draw.
Bassett are scheduled to be back in the south of the county next Saturday with a trip to Salisbury FC Development.
