Yet another good result for the Bullets

This week we were away to Stratton Youth with a 10.30am start the weather was cold and miserable.

The Stratton youth pitch was very very small probably the smallest pitch the Bassett boys has ever experienced, this meant the game was tight in the beginning with no space to move and certainly no space for the boys to play their passing game.

After 10 mins the Bullets started to take control, the first goal coming from midfield a great move and pass from Jack to Scott in the Stratton box giving the keeper no chance, 1-0 to Bassett.

From then on the Bassett Bullets were totally in control of the game with more goals just waiting to be scored. 2 more goals came before half time from Jack & another one from Scott making the score 3-0 at the break, the boys were pumped up and certainly up for more goals in the second half.

We started the second half surprisingly slow with some poor passing and unnecessarily giving the ball away, once Scott scored Bassett′s fourth goal everyone started to wake up again, but no means ever reaching top gear. Three more goals came during the rest of the half with Stratton never really troubling the Bassett goal. A great result although not the best game we′ve played, a bit sluggish at times need to get back in form for next week our last home game of the season.

Well done boys, little better next week please.
