Once again the boys took control from the first whistle. We played 7 a side this week, the first time this formation has been played. Once we got used to the extra man playing just off the defenders the goals started going in left right and centre.

Jack Blow started the scoring off with the first goal going in within 5mins, this was assisted by an excellent pass from Scott Twine and after that we were firing on all cylinders giving Cricklade Youth little chance of impacting the game. We had more goals in the first half from Harry Davies, Scott Twine and Jack Blow leaving the score at half time 6-0.

With that in mind we changed things around at half time putting Jack Blow in goal and this enabled our normal goalkeeper Charan Chahal and our defenders Thomas Johnstone and Chris Davies to have a turn up front.

Scott Twine, Harry Davies, Thomas Johnstone & Chris Davies all scored second half goals giving us a winning score of 14-0.

A thoroughly enjoyable game and all the boys enjoyed the chance to change from their usual positions.
