Twine inspires yet another big win

A great game to watch considering we haven′t played for 3 weeks, the boys got of to good start by scoring within the first 2 mins.

There were a couple of occasions when Stratton tested our defence and the majority of the time Chris and Thomas dealt with the situation well but Stratton did manage to score their first goal in the closing minutes of the first half, which made the score 9-1 at half time.

After a quick drink the boys were chomping at the bit to start again, I could sense there were much more goals to come in the second period, I was not wrong, with Jack B. switching from left to right in midfield and making some superb passes to Scott up front the balls were flying pass the Stratton keeper.

In the last few minutes of the game Stratton scored their second due to the fact that the Bassett boys had run their hearts out and was very tired.

We totally dominated the game from start to finish with everyone playing the passing game and totally destroying the opposition.

I am looking forward to next Sunday′s game against White Horse Juniors who have only lost 1 game so far.
