This week we were at home to Ramsbury our last meeting with them saw the bullets come away with a 9-0 win, so expectations were high.
It was a quick start to the game with the bullets taking complete control, with some superb passing in the midfield and up front from Jack, Harry and Scott. The first goal came with 5 mins played from a long range shot by Jack. 1-0 Bassett.
After the restart basset started to pile on more & more pressure, another goal came when Bassett had a corner, Jack played the ball to Thomas who played it back to Jack (something we have been working on in training) who shot from long range straight into the top corner GREAT GOAL!!
The rest of the first half was more or less the same with Bassett totally dominating the half and 2 further goals from Jack saw the boys 4-0 up at the break with all 4 goals coming from the captain.
The second half started much the same, with Ramsbury trying hard but not really troubling Charan in the Bassett Goal. Scott scored the next goal for the bullets and his first of the game, shortly after that Jack got his 5th goal. We made a great move with 10 mins left to play with Jack passing to Harry who passed back to Jack who crossed the ball into the box for Scott to fire it home, superb passing and a great finish.
The score now was 7-0 to Bassett and with the game sewn up I decided to change things around, I put Jack in goal ( to let Charan have a spell on the pitch) and swapped Thomas with Harry in midfield, this worked well with 2 further goals coming from Harry and Scott, later on in the half I swapped Thomas in midfield with Chris in defence, which gave Chris a chance in the middle of the park.
In the end it was a fantastic performance again from the boys and a lovely game to watch. The score ended 9-0 to W.B.T.F.C. another great victory and still unbeaten so far, lets keep it up boys, lots more games like this please.
