Another clean sheet for Bassett

A tough 5 minutes start to the game with Ramsbury denying Bassett several times, some superb shots from Jack Blow, Scott Twine and Harry Davies were saved by Ramsbury′s keeper but once we scored the first goal they starting pouring in with Ramsbury losing their shape and confidence.

The Bassett Bullets took the game by the horns and by passing the ball very well in midfield we created chance after chance, some excellent defending at the back by Thomas Johnstone and Chris Davies meant the midfield had time on the ball with Jack B. linking up with Scott who found the back of the net every time. Half time came very quickly with all the boys needing a breather, the Bullets were ahead with a 6-0 score line.

With the score at 6-0 and the game in control, I thought I would change things around for the second week in a row bringing Charan out of goal and giving Harry a half between the sticks. In the second half everyone had their turn on the sideline with the introduction of Jack Howarth. Once again our normal defenders had the chance to play in a more attacking position with Chris and Charan finding the back of the net.

In the end it was a comfortable win for us, with all the boys playing extremely well, running their hearts out and fighting for every ball.

Another clean sheet that saw the Bassett Bullets winning convincingly at Ramsbury 10-0.

Superb first three games to the season, well done boys, lets keep it up.
