Today's game away to Stratton was the day the U10's won the league title with a game to go. The boys knew it was going to be a tough game but came out with a 1 –0 win in this hard fought contest. With what happened when we played them a couple of weeks ago this game was keenly contested from both teams and good football was played.

The game was at times end-to-end but rarely was our keeper troubled but when called upon Fraser kept another clean sheet to his credit. The boys who were subs today were not used but the game was too close to start switching the boys around and the credit also goes to them for watching the game without being chosen.

The football at times from Bassett was clinical and fast except for the finishing of various players, which let them down because of the hard work done before them to receiving the ball. The goal came about from another good passing movement from our defence and the ball was played through to Tom who had a race on with the keeper but as coolly as you like Tom got there first and lobbed a great shot over the keeper and bounced nicely into the open net.

Our defence of today was Harry and Grant with Cole not playing through a slight injury to his heel, which was a shame as Cole has been consistent throughout this season, but Grant stepped into the role and played another great game.

Bassett should have been 3 or 4 up with the amount of possession we had, the way we worked the ball around the pitch and the never say attitude of giving in, it's a credit to them all, also with a Seb thunder driver hitting and almost demolishing the bar was a good first season from him.

Goalkeeper: Fraser

Defence: Harry, Cole, Grant

Midfield: Jack & Ellis

Wings: Nick, Josh, Neil & Seb

Forwards: Ryan & Tom
