Comfortable win for Bassett Under 10's on heavy pitch

Today's game saw our team start slowly in my eyes. The pitch was heavy and the weather was bitter, and the players tried to run with the ball which you cannot do when the pitch is in those conditions, you should let the ball do the work.

Anyway the lads did work hard ! and its probably me being too hard on them for today's game. Fraser (MOTM) had not much to do but when called on he made some great saves and a fantastic point blank one as well so well done to Fraser. Considering the weather the boys did get going and started to pass the ball around alot more with Jack controlling the midfield as the game went on and scored his trademark freekick goal and Grant playing well in defence and up front when required was unlucky not to score himself but for a good save by the other keeper, Chopper came close with a thundering header against the bar along with Ryan weaving in and out with a great save as well again by the keeper. Ellis playing in the midfield role made a nuisance of himself to the players and scored a great finish with his body arched he let rip and the ball flew into the bottom corner of the net. As I said the lads played well and done a good job so well done to them.
