Two sides at the bottom end of the table met today when Marlborough Town's visitors were Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development in what was the first meeting between the two sides this season. Both had lost their previous two games and were keen to return to winning form. In a really close contest the points were settled from the penalty spot eight minutes from time after Ryan Withers had been pulled back in the box. Tyrhys Mifsud stepped up to hold his nerve and fire in the resulting penalty to give Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development the three points. The win lifted them up to ninth place in the table, whilst Marlborough dropped a place to 12th.
