Strong Bassett line up lose away at Wroughton

Second placed Wroughton kept on their heels at the top of the table with an excellent 5-1 home success over a strong Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development side. They scored the first within 5 minutes of the start and made it 2-0 on 18 minutes to put themselves in command. They then scored a third before half time to lead 3-0 at the break. Two further second half goals to just one for the visitors rounded-off an impressive performance from the title challengers. Two goals for Jordan Lea, taking him to 11 for the season, plus one apiece for Kyle Parker, Shane Hibbert and Jamie McLaughlin secured the points for Wroughton as they remained two points behind Kintbury. The Royal Wootton Bassett goal came courtesy of an own goal.
