Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development made it two wins in a week as they ground out a hard earned 2-1 win over visitors Ludgershall Sports. Carl Shepherd put the home side in front in the first half. After some neat set-up play the ball was played into Shepherd's feet on the edge of the box and he dropped his shoulder and turned to fire a left foot shot into the corner of the net to make it 1-0 at the break. Ludgershall equalised 20 minutes into the second half when Nathan Strong netted with a back-post header. However, Bailey Gallagher restored the home sides' lead not soon after when he shimmied past two defenders and then hit a soft shot which eluded the Ludgershall keeper to make it 2-1. Gallagher then had a couple of chances to extend the lead but was unable to find the net with either effort. He was then brought down on the edge of the Ludgershall box and picked himself up to fire the resulting free-kick against the Ludgershall cross-bar leaving the final score 2-1 to the home side.
