Wootton Bassett started the proceedings very well with a goal from their Jaye Mcguigan within the first 2 minutes. Then Trowbridge Wanderers drew level with another goal after 5 minutes. The ensuing first half gave both teams the opportunity to score and eventually just one minute before half-time, Trowbridge Wanderers took the lead with another goal. The second half saw more good attempts to score by both teams, however Trowbridge Wanderers managed a goal after 15 minutes. Not to be out done, Amy Mathews of Wootton Bassett scored in the 24th minute and so the last few minutes and injury time saw a flurry of activity with Bassett trying to level the score. Unfortunately, despite playing well, less than one minute from the end of injury time, Bassett let their defensive guard down a little and Trowbridge Town scored their goal. Although the final score line ended Trowbridge Wanderers 4 and Wootton Bassett 2, everyone got a good game and played well.
