Bassett had their return game against Ferndale and came away with a 6 - 0 win. This was a good game to watch with good quality passing and good vision of the game, a joy to watch, bearing in mind the boys are only under 8. The defence of Scott Walduck, Oliver Rigby and Sam Lowkis were being changed around over the period of the game. They were all absolutely solid at the back and the defenders were even passing out wide and doing some overlapping runs, making more space and options up front. Joe Paish playing in goal had another confident game and kept another clean sheet. The forward line of Jake Matthews(2), Tyler Amos(2), and Ben Mattick(2)who in turn played the ball around really well especially Jake putting in an oscar performance after his one eyed header!! Each one of them working individually and together well on the field. Overall it was a great team performance, yet again well done lads!
