What a shock to the system on this game but a good lesson in this our first loss of the season/Year.

In the first half, our lads did not seem up to the challenge and the way they played it looked like it as well, and by looking at the game Marlborough wanted it more than us. The passing was not up to scratch the running was not there as usual and the flowing footie what we come to expect was not there at all. Saying that after a nice little chat at half time the lads did everything but score, they were camped in the Marlborough half all the time, chance after chance came begging but besides hitting the cross bar and the post a few times it was not going to be our day, if we look at now and we were still playing we would not have scored now either, it was one of those games. The plus points is we welcomed Grant today for his first game and walked out with player of the game and 3 other players had the flu no excuses though we move on to the next game home to Malmesbury in the new year, Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year.
