The Town footballers consolidated their chances of winning the Calne and District League by winning at Clyffe Pypard by 11 goals to 4. While the Town were always the better side, the game was not so one-sided as the score would suggest. The scorers for Wootton Bassett were A. Embling (4), S. Gleed (3), F.F. Perry (2), D. Bull and R. Beazley.
