"Hat tricks" were registerd by A. Embling and S. Gleed in the Calne and District League match between Wootton Bassett Town and Lowden on Saturday. The home team won by 7 goals to 2. The first half was fairly even and at the interval the Town had a 2-1 lead. Embling (2) scoring for Wootton Bassett and S. Fenner for the visitors.

The Town were much the better side in the second half and Embling completed his "hat trick" while S. Gleed also scored three goals. F. Perry obtained the seventh and S. Fenner got another for Lowden.
