The Town team, after being two goals behind at the interval in their match with Compton Bassett in the semi final round of the Calne and District Knockout Cup on Saturday, won by 7 goals to 2. Compton Bassett scored in the first ten minutes through Hooper and Lawrence, and they held this lead until two minutes after the interval, when the Town began to take command of the game. Perry opened their scoring, and the subsequent goals came from R. Beazley, A. Embling (2), F. Perry, S. Gleed and E.B. Bull. Wootton Bassett will meet either Lyneham or Lowden in the final.
