The Town team visited Bushton United on Saturday in a Calne and District League fixture. This match which, as usual, was in the nature of a "local derby", did not yield form of a high standard. The Town were beaten by 4 goals to 2, A. Embling scoring both their points (sic).
The Town's team to entertain Compton Bassett in a Calne and District League match tomorrow will be: C.R. Waite; F.C.W. Drury and H. Clarke; A. Compton, W. Ogbourne and J.G. Fry: S. Titcombe, F.F. Perry, A. Embling, D. Gleed and H. Bartlett.
