The Town's first eleven were fortunate in securing two points at Avebury on Saturday in a Calne and District League match. Twelve minutes before the end the home team were leading by 3 goals to 1, but the visitors then netted three times and won by 4 goals to 3. The Town's scorers were W. Sandell (2), M. Titcombe and J. Norris (from a penalty). The Town' entertain Chippenham Congregationals in a Calne and District match tomorrow and the team will be: H. W. Boulter; A. S. Beale and H. Clarke: J. Norris, E Tull and A. Compton W. Ogbourne, M. Titcombe, C. Roles, L W. Chequers and W. Sandell.
