Once again it was cup day at Ferndale School, with the North Wilts & District Youth & Minors League's Under 10's taking centre stage last weekend. In a round of incredibly close matches - with just one game seeing a winning margin of more than two goals - cup holders and previously unbeaten Wootton Bassett Town were surprisingly knocked out in the first round.

In a very close and tense contest against Marlborough Town, the game was still; goalless after extra time. It was Marlborough who held their nerve in the penalty shoot-out to win 3-2. Their reward is a match against Ferndale Rodbourne, who were 3-1 winners over Highworth Town B.
