It was back to league action today after a couple of tough friendly matches, Stratton Youth were the opposition and we were looking to carry on with our good league form.

Straight from the kick off Bassett started to put Stratton under pressure and it wasn't long before we were rewarded with two good goals. Excellent passing right throughout the team created the chances and Josh was on hand to finish them.

In the second half Bassett continued to press with Josh and Oliver proving a real handful up front, they both worked hard and the movement and tackling was the best it has been all season. Max, Keir and Tom worked tirelessly in midfield, Scott and Mitchell never put a foot wrong at the back and Reuban - who didn't have a lot to do – kept his concentration well and was always alert when called on. Two more goals from Josh and an own goal towards the end completed the scoring in a match that was totally dominated by Bassett from start to finish.
