This week we continued our winning streak with a good performance against Coleshill Rangers.

Bassett started the game well and put Coleshill under a lot pressure right from the kick off. We had a couple of chances which we didn't manage to convert in the first five minutes, but then halfway through the first half Max Passingham won the ball and played a fine ball through to Joshua Bolton who placed his shot into the bottom corner. Mitchell Terry then showed a lot of composure winning the ball and playing it back to Reuban Southan in goal. Max was unlucky not to make it 2-0 with a good shot on goal and in defence Martin Bates was back to his best making couple of important tackles just before half time.

After the break Coleshill missed a good chance but Bassett were never really put under to much pressure and it wasn't long before the lead was increased, again it was Josh who scored after some good tackling from Martin and Max. Josh then completed his hat trick after receiving the ball from a throw in and playing a one-two with Max.

A key feature of this game was our solid tackling and high work rate. Every player gave 100% with Max and Martin having a particularly good game.
