Terry stars in rare nil-nil draw

Today Bassett travelled to Westbrook, hoping to carry on with our good league form in what was our penultimate fixture of the season. Looking at the result this could have seemed like a boring game but it was far from that, it was a very entertaining match which could have gone either way.

From the kick off Bassett played some good passing moves from the back but couldn't seem to find the final killer pass. This was to prove the story of the day with a lot of good action but no end product. On the few occasions we did get shots in the Westbrook keeper was equal to them. Although the result could have been better we battled well today, in particular Mitchell Terry who was man of the match.

All the players played well again today and are still progressing well. The passing is getting better by the game and the tackling is always strong with players showing the confidence to want the ball, look up and find another team mate.
