The next game of the season was an away game against Ashton Keynes in a fast start Alec open the scoring in side a minute, only for Ashton Keynes from the restart to go straight down the other end and score a goal of there own. After the goal Bassett took control with 2 more goals before the break first a fine finish from Charlie and a 2nd of the game from Alec finishing of some fine work and pass from Matthew. In the 2nd quarter good wide play from Harry And Caden saw run forward run end with shots just wide. Harry finally got on the score sheet with some good team play and a good finish low past the keeper. Ashton Keynes playing a formation with 2 at the back that the Bassett boys have not played against this season found it hard to find the space in the box to get shots away struggled to break the home team. A few long range efforts from Aston Keynes was enough to keep the Bassett defence busy. Late into the final quarter bassett did break down the home teams defence and Alec was on hand to finish for the boys 5th and Alec 3rd of the game. At the end Bassett run out 5-1 winners in a very entertaining game for both sets of players and parents
