Wootton Bassett traveled away to play Lydiard with the boys looking to keep their fine run of form going a very strong and fast start to the game saw the boys over power the home side in the first quarter with 5 goals being scored, Ryder opened the scoring before Herbie got on the score sheet for his first league goal, Alec then added a 3rd with Charlie scoring the pick of the goals with a fine solo effort beating 3 players before finishing, Caden added the 5th. Into the 2nd quarter The home side played their way back into the game and got a goal that all there hard work deserved, Bassett first goal against in 4 games, The boys then got the ball down and played some of the best passing football of the season so far at the break the boys went in 5-1 up. Into the 3rd quarter the boys carried on playing there football and a good run and pass from Herbie saw Tom finish first time low down to the keepers right for Tom's first league goal of the season. Alec then converted Harry's corner for the 7th, Caden then added his 2nd and 3rd goals of the game with a couple of well taken long range efforts. In the final quarter the scoring was finished with Tom getting his 2nd and Alec getting his 3rd goals of the game. In the end Bassett run out well deserved winners 11-1
