Remembrance Sunday game away against Lydiard Youth Blue. The boys observed a minute silence before the game impeccably well. As the game started the first 7-8 minutes was a battle for the boys Bassett started getting the upperhand winning all the 50-50 and out muscling their opponents. Just before the break Caden played in Alec to put the boys 1-0 up Alec quickly add a second before the end of the first quater. Into the second quarter Bassett work rate and passing was to much for the Lydiard Boys goals from Ryder, Caden and Tom extended the lead going into the half time break. The second half was all Bassett with attack after attack Harry scored with a good left foot finish Ryder got his second before Lydiard got on the score sheet with a fine finish of their own. Caden add his second of the game just before the end of the 3rd quarter. As the final quarter got underway with Bassett leading 8-1. In the final 10 minutes the boys played some amazing passing football that saw more goals with Harry getting two more and Matthew scoring his first league goal of the season and Ryder finishing the scoring with his 3rd and the boys 13th of the game. Bassett run out comfortable winners 13-1.
