Wootton Bassett under 8's fourth league game of the season saw them entertain Hungerford White's. Bassett looking to keep there recent good form going started well with good chances for Harry, Ryder And Alec which were well saved by the hungerford keeper, just before the ens of the 1st quarter Caden won the ball from the hungerfoed defender and run clear before finishing well low down to the keepers right for his 1st league goal of the season. In the 2nd quarter more good passing from the boys saw more good chances go begging, at the other end a well timed sliding tackle from tom captain for the day stopped a promising attack for the visitors with a good save from Jack just before the half time break saw the score remain 1-0. At the start of the 3rd quarter the boys came out looking to double there led Tom had a good opportunity only to hit the post when 1 on 1 with the keeper shortly after Alec won the ball from a goal kick and beat his man before firing home from just out side the box. Hungerford thenhad a good chance only for a good save from Caden kept the boys 2-0 up. More good saves in the final quarter from Tom helped to keep the Hungerford forwards out, late on Thomas making his first league start for the club saw a shot come back off the bar. At the final whisle Bassett run out winners 2-0 in a very entertaining game the boys have now won there last 3 games in a row without conceding a goal.
