The under 8's 3rd game of the season was an away game at Hungerford. The boys looking to carry on from last weeks performance they started fast with an early goal from Alec, putting the boys into a 1-0 lead. A well taken corner from Ryder was finished at the back post by Alec with a finish off his stomach. Bassett never gave Hungerford a chance to get on the ball with the team all working hard to win back the ball. Two more goals from Alec before half time put the boys into a 4-0 half time lead. In the second half bassett passed the ball around with harry having a couple of runs and crosses from the right wing. Basssett 5th goal came from a fine pass from Matthew puttting Harry in to finish well. Hungerfords goalkeeper then made a couple of good saves preventing the boys from adding to the score. In the final quarter a quick short corner from Alec found Ryder in space to fire a shot into the far top corner, The scoring was finished from another corner when under pressure from Tom a Hungerford defender put into his own goal. Only a very good save late on from Herbie saw bassett keep a second clean sheet in two weeks, Bassett run out winners 7-0 in a very good team performance.
