But it was the visitors who took the advantage of some poor clearances. It stunned the home side. They quickly ealised they were in a real competitive game. Their persistence and determination was soon to be paid off. A lovely through ball from Ryan Campbell was laid into the path of Karl Roberts, his pace took him away from his defender, and he clinically finished with a stunning volley, beyond the reach of the visiting keeper.

After taking complete control of the game, the second period of second-half brought treachorous weather, and unfortunately it was coming into the path of the home side and injuries were begining to mount up, and substitutions had to be made. The lads defended with a real physical and mental strength, which was a joy to watch. The game ended in a well deserved draw.
