Sunday 2nd November 2008 - Croft Juniors 'B' (A)

The game started off very tight and competitive, with neither team giving much away. The conditions preventing the away side in settling into their normally fluent passing game. As half-time beckoned, a sublime pass by Ryan Campbell into the path of Ryan Dowse, was delivered incisively into the box, which was met with a towering header by Brad Bancroft, which finished an exquisite move.

The second half began much as the start of the first, with the home side never giving up, but the lead was extended with a second great finish by Brad Bancroft. As conditions worsened both teams, battled relentlessly. But the away side again extended their lead with a well-rounded off hat-trick by Brad Bancroft. The away side were rewarded for their efforts with a goal. This only inspired the away side to knuckle down, and put the game beyond reach with a goal from Karl Roberts.
