Sunday 19th October 2008 - Blunsdon Colts (A)

This game started off very close, and was played in a very sporting manner. Both teams were attacking and competitive. With several goal-scoring opportunities falling to both, the first-half ended goalless.

After being well contained and frustrated by Blunsdon, Wootton Bassett began the second half well, which was rewarded with an opener. This unlocked the stalemate, and they quickly began to dominate.

Although Blunsdon, never failed to compete or roll-over. With some great saves from their keeper. He was unable to prevent the score line from reaching a masterful 5-0 victory.

The game was very enjoyable to watch, for both sets of spectators. Hopefully Wootton Bassett can continue their rich vein of form for the rest of the season.
