Sunday 22nd February 2009 - Blunsdon Colts (H)

It was the home side's first game back after a few postponed fixtures, so it was important to hit the ground running. They didn`t discredit themselves, they carved chance upon chance, it was only the tenacity and bravery of the visiting side keeper that denied them the opener. So half-time ended 0-0

Second half brought more chances for the home side, just our finishing deserted us. Till finally a well crafted move was finished off by Ryan Dowse.

We then began to dominate, looking to extend our lead. Unfortunately we sat deep, and invited the visiting side to press. This was our undoing, and Blunsdon equalised, and their tails were well up!

A couple of injuries forced 2 substitutions. And with us unable to clear a set piece, Blunsdon won the game with minutes to spare. A well fought contest with a bizarre end for the home side
