I fought the law and the law won as 4 sent off in clash

Well, I guess some careful words are required to report on this match. If I use the term "clash" it may have a more appropriate meaning for those who watched.

A bitterly cold morning saw Ferndale score within the first couple of minutes, half an hour later, a second goal. The quality of play was about even between the two teams, no real reason why we should be in such defecit.

The score line remained at 2-0 until half time.

Chris Edwards took advantage during an attacking run from Bassett and scored, much to the disappointment of our opponents.

Connor′s first outing as goalie was a success and he should be pleased with himself. Congratulations too, must go to James Dixon, who had a good game but just didn′t manage to score, but plenty of effort and determination were visible.

Ferndale scored a further two goals despite our best efforts at defence.

A good refereeing decision at the important stage of the match allowed play to continue with nine a side. Four red cards being an exceptional award during any match I have ever seen.

I would compliment the boys upon their team spirit and resilient attitude, but would add that there energies should be channeled more appropriately. I can′t wait until the next match, perhaps we could organise a friendly?
