The Under 14 Girls travelled away to face a Keynsham Town team which proved to be too strong on the day. The Keynsham pitch was much larger than normal and despite the scoreline the Bassett girls had several flowing moves as they used the space to move the ball around. With some excellent individuals in their team Keynsham led 4-0 at half time despite some brave goalkeeping from George Viveash.

In the second half both teams tired and Keynsham took advantage of the space this created and went on to win by ten goals to nil. Despite this the Bassett girls kept their heads up and deserved a consolation for the excellent teamwork that they showed.
