The Under 14 Girls continued to find the going tough in their latest Wiltshire League match as they lost 9-0 at home to Swindon Badgers. In the first half Bassett defended well managing to frustrate the Badgers attack but still conceded three goals to go in at half time three nil down.

At the start of the second half Badgers scored two quick goals and the remainder of the half was difficult as the Bassett goal came under siege. Although the Bassett girls showed some fine touches they came up against a Badgers team that passed and moved well as a team. The final result was a nine nil defeat but there are clear signs that the girls are operating better as a unit the more matches that they play in together.
