The Under 14 Girls crashed out of the League Cup losing 10-0 to a strong Swindon Badgers team at Ballards Ash. Missing two regular members of the team, Bassett fought bravely until the end but it was Badgers that progressed to the next round of the cup.

Badgers took 10 minutes to score their first goal but by half time they had an unassailable 6-0 lead. Bassett kept trying and were unlucky not to get the consolation goal that they deserved.
