The Town completed their Calne and District League fixtures on Thursday evening, when they entertained Clyffe Pypard and won easily by 9 goals to 2. The Wootton Bassett scorers were: R. Beazley (3), C.R. Waite (2), F.F. Perry, A. Embling, S. Gleed and A. Compton; and Stanley and Embling (own goal) netted for Clyffe. The Town become the Calne League champions with the following record: played, 12; won, 11; lost, 1; drawn, 0; goals for, 68; against, 27: points, 22.
