The Town's first eleven did well again on Saturday, when they defeated Calne Reserves in a Calne & District League match by 6 goals to 2. Ogbourne gave the Town the lead after 25 minutes' play, and this was all the scoring until 20 minutes of the second half had elapsed. Roles then netted and was followed by another goal from a penalty. Compton, who deputised for the injured Sandell, followed with the "hat trick" and towards the end Stevens and Walters scored for Calne.
