Chippenham Reserves, in the fourth round of the Wilts Junior Cup competition, did well on Saturday, when they met Wootton Bassett on the ground of the latter. Chippenham scored within the first ten minutes through Walters. They continued to have the greater part of the play and their success was added to by Hughes and Jones contributing goals. Just before half time the home team, who played up pluckily, were rewarded by a goal. Morris scoring after good work by Osborne and Rolls. In the second half Hughes, Barnes and Walters added goals for Chippenham. who on the whole were much the better team and only the splendid play of the home goalkeeper kept the score from being much higher.
