Hat-trick from Catherine Reid does the damage

Wootton Bassett Town Ladies FC were playing there first game for 3 weeks and with only 10 players against a strong wind did well to hold Brize Norton to 0 – 0 at half time however after the break Bassett took full advantage of the wind and managed to keep the pressure on Brize Norton which eventually paid off when Catherine Reid broke the dead lock with her first of her afternoons hat trick Bassett spread the ball wide where Reid picked up the ball and cut in rounding the defender to finish low and hard into the bottom corner giving the Brize keeper no chance. Bassett continued to press and several chances went begging before Reid added her second. Next the ever dangerous Kirsty Hulse forced her way into the area passing three players causing the last Brize defender to put the ball into her own net. The next goal came from Cara Stacey playing in mid field for the day picked up from a rebound from the influential Netti Wyness slotted home from yards. Catherine Reid finished off a fine afternoon for herself by converting an excellent free kick from just outside the penalty area.
