An excellent first match as an eleven a side team saw Bassett come away from Ferndale with all three points thanks to a 7-1 score line. Bassett's goals were scored by Joel Swann (2), Jordan Daley, James Tasker, Alfie Passingham, Graham Silk and Martyn Plaistow.
