Goals from Libby Davies and Hayley Huckin secured a deserved 2-0 win for Royal Wootton Bassett Town against St Vallier AFC in friendly action ahead of the start of the South West Regional Women's Football League Premier Division season.
Bassett led 1-0 at half time and grabbed their second goal ten minutes before the final whistle.
In a solid performance, the margin of victory could have been greater with Bassett hitting the bar on the stroke of half time.
