Royal Wootton Bassett Town advanced to the third round of the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup with a 2-0 victory against North Leigh.
Rich Hunter's Royal Wootton Bassett Town side made sure that it's more than just final league position they are still playing for this season as a 2-0 away victory against North Leigh booked their place in the last sixteen of the Hellenic League Supplementary Cup.
Bassett were unable to find a way past their Division One West opponents in the opening period, but finally got the breakthrough after the restart with Dale Richards finding the back of the net for the eleventh time this season and an own goal aiding their cause.
