Royal Wootton Bassett Town fell to a 2-0 defeat in their Wiltshire Senior Cup second round clash away against Bradford Town.
Goals either side of half time determined Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Wiltshire Senior Cup second round tie at Bradford Town as the West Wiltshire side defeated their visitors 2-0 to progress.
Bradford's clinical finishing was the ultimate difference between the two teams as Bassett lacked the necessary edge to find a way past their cup specialist hosts, who on Saturday had booked their place in the last 32 of the FA Vase.
Centre forward Dan Cottle broke the deadlock for Bradford as the game approached the half hour mark, before Mark Wall settled the outcome of the game on the hour mark when he found the back of the net from a well worked corner.
They now go on to visit Highworth Town in the quarter finals. Meanwhile for Bassett, their long wait for a repeat of the success they enjoyed in the Senior Cup at the turn of the Millennium goes on.
