In a game that flowed from end to end, Bassett Reserves lost out to a strong Park Reserves side. The teams seemed to be well-matched and neither managed to gain control. The first half, although seeing both teams busy, proved scoreless.

Aldbourne Park Reserves took the lead early in the second half, Bassett equalising through a scrambled goal shortly afterwards. The winner for Park came 17 minutes from time. A fine Bassett attack resulted in Bryant's shot being well saved by the keeper. His quick throw released a Park midfield player who ran the length of the pitch before firing confidently home.
