In an uninspiring game at Rylands Way on Saturday, Bassett Reserves gained a 2-0 win. The supporters saw Bassett suffer one of those days where the harder they tried the more difficult it became. The first goal came after 10 minutes, Serratore firing home following good work from Bell. Bell then turned from provider to scorer when he netted the second shortly before half time.
