Second placed Shrewton United, another side who have been in impressive form of late, could not take advantage of the leaders Melksham Town Reserves defeat against Wroughton as they also went down, 3-2 away at Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development in the second minor shock of the day. The young Development side are in fifth place mainly on the back of their impressive home form which has seen them lose just twice at home in 12 league games. They continued this good form at the Gerard Buxton Ground with goals from Logan Cassidy, Josh Bolton and Carl Shepherd securing the three points. On target for Shrewton were Dean Smith and Alistair Carvell.
