26 Feb 2012 - FC Abbey Meads Colts (A)

Pretty good performance from the lads today. Abbey Meades started well but we mtached them and were unlucky to go in 2:0 down

We were the better side at the start of the 2nd half and got urselves back in it witha nicely worked goal. Taylor rose well to nod the ball on and Joe rounded the keeper well to make it 2:1. Joe added a 2nd after Abbey scored to make it 4:2.

The Abbey striker was proving to be a real handful and he scored again to make it 5:2 before a lovely Bassett goal made it 5:3. Harry passed it long doen the line and Joe picked out Ashley with a perfect cross. Ashley finished with composure!

Abbey added a 6th goal and woyld have added more but our defensive pairing of Alex and Harry got to grips with the strong, quick striker and he begand to get frustrated. All the boys did well today and they have plenty to be positive for the remainder of the season
